An excellent anticorrosive coating, designed primarily as an external coating for steam boilers. This is based on a specially formulated bituminous medium. It affords high resistance to moisture, saline and fresh water and also acidic fumes. It has various other uses e.g. painting pipe lines, water tanks, chimney stacks, condensers, air-coolers, centrifugal pumps, air ducting. It is also used widely in Sugar and Paper factories as an economical anticorrosive black coating for protection of steel surfaces from moisture and acid/alkaline environment.
